John Bradley Loy, age 50, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at his home. He was born on August 12, 1963 in Arkadelphia, the son of James William and Shirley McAnally Loy. Brad was the owner of Loy & Son Heating and Air and was a deacon and worship leader at Sycamore Church. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Jamie Loy. Brad is survived by his wife, Joan Hill Loy of Bismarck, his son, Rush Loy of Bismarck, four daughters, Brittany Loy of Hot Springs, Mikki (Adam) Hastings of Okolona, Mary (Martin) Downey of St. Cloud, FL and Rebecca (Daniel) McElhannon of Bismarck, his brother, Mike (Gayla) Loy of Gurdon, Sharon (Jimmy) Stinnett of Friendship and nine grandchildren, Britney, Heather, Grace, Katie, Kacey, Luke, Jude, Tyson and Aiyana. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Sycamore Church at Beirne with Rev. James McCain officiating.
