Bobby Lewis Copeland, age 75, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born on February 17, 1935 in Delight, the son of the late Clarence and Gladys Hardin Copeland. Bobby was a retired roofing and painting contractor and attended Third Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed life and was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Copeland, two sisters, Clara Mae Taylor and Faye Rhinehart, two brothers, Cecil and Neal Copeland and one granddaughter, Carisa Lynn Ennis. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Greg) Ennis of Russellville, one son, Ricky (Joetta) Copeland of Arkadelphia, one sister, Fern Ray of Texarkana, AR, three brothers, Bill (Milrene) Copeland of Arkadelphia, Curtis (Kathy) Copeland of Gurdon and Junior (Pat) Copeland of Texarkana, TX and one grandchild, Cameron Copeland of Arkadelphia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Temon Jenkins officiating.. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery near Billstown. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
