Bobbie Laverne Buchanan, age 77, of Mt Ida, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs . She was born August 11, 1939 in Caddo Gap, the daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Annie Smith Horn. Bobbie was a retired registered nurse and a Baptist.

Survivors are her husband, Roy Buchanan, one son Christopher Buchanan, three daughters, Cheryl Buchanan, Celeste Knabenshue and Cathleen O'Neil, one brother, Doyle Horn, one sister, Mary Scott, four grandchildren, Chloe, Dora, Laci and Viktoriya, and one great grandchild, Sally Booth.

No services are planned.
