Charles Blain Smith, age 59, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at his home.  He was born July 28, 1961, in Arkadelphia, the son of Charles Leonard and Janis Crowley Smith.  Blain was a 1980 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and a 1984 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University.  He was the Director of the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce for sixteen years.  Blain was a member of First United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Leonard Smith.

Blain is survived by his mother, Janis Crowley Smith of Arkadelphia, one sister, Melinda Fowler and her husband Bob of Arkadelphia, two nieces, Lindsey Catlett and her husband Jacob of Birmingham, AL, and Abbey Fowler of Arkadelphia, and one great nephew, Rodney Catlett.

At Blain's request there will be no services.
