William Sloan (Bill) Lewis, age 61, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at his home. He was born on December 29, 1952 in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Roy Bonds and Lela Sloan Lewis. Bill was retired from Siplast and enjoyed golf, fishing and yard work. He is survived by his wife, Pam Davis Lewis of Arkadelphia, two sons, Trent (Elizabeth) Lewis of Midway and Byron (Samantha) Lewis of Biloxi, MS, his brother, Bob (Marilyn) Lewis of Shreveport, three grandchildren, Ava, Lela and Cash Lewis, and special friends Scott Thomas and Ray Willis of Arkadelphia. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, with Bro. Fred Etheridge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
