Bill Van Camp, age 80, of Antoine, passed from this life on Thursday, November 27, 2008, at his home. He was born July 23, 1928, in Antoine, the son of the late Jim & Cora Cubit Van Camp. Bill was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict & he retired from Continental Can Company in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Cotten Van Camp & one brother Jerry Van Camp.

Bill is survived by his wife, Frances Mitchell Van Camp, one son Jimmy Ray Van Camp of Houston, TX., two daughters Billie Sue Hill (Billy) & Jo Ann Fenton (David) of Houston, TX. Two step sons, Jackie Woodall of Arkadelphia , Steve Woodall (Loretta) of Amity, three step daughters, Kathy Loden (Danny) of Arkadelphia, Phyllis Tunnell (Dave) of Blevins & Sandra Jarvis (Travis) of Amity. Step mother, Irene Dixon of Antoine. Four brothers, Wendell Van Camp (Lois) of Pike City, Lonny Van Camp (Sandra) of Antoine, Johnny Van Camp (Vivian) of Antoine, & Jimmy Hugh Van Camp (Jeanette) of Nashville, TN. Three sisters, Patsy Stone (Pat)& Debbie Bell (Ronny) of Billstown, & Sue Peters of Kelso, WA. Twenty three grandchildren & Twenty five great grandchildren. Sister in law Jan Mitchell of Arkadelphia.

Graveside services are 2:00 PM Saturday at Jones Cemetery with Rev. Dave Tunnell officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Pallbearers are C.E. Lockwood, Kevin Price, Dale Teel, James Watts, David Fenton & Billy House.
