Betty Bryant Paul, age 71, of Okolona, passed from this life on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born November 19, 1949, in Benton, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Audrey Duncan Bryant.  Betty was a kitchen and catering chef at OBU for many years.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Betty enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Paul, one brother, Tommy Bryant, one sister in law, Belinda Bryant and a great nephew, Jacob Shepherd.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Christine Tucker (Chad) of Okolona, Sandy Parry (Joe) of Meridian, MS, two brothers, Johnny Bryant of Benton and Greg Roark of Malvern, one sister, Sandy Fite of Sheridan, six grandchildren, Zack Parry (Hannah) of New Mexico, Samantha Parry of California, Matt Parry of Italy, Koty and Harley Tucker of Oregon and Janet Whitmore of Oregon.  Nephews, Jason Bryant and Terry Roark, and nieces, Amber Shepherd, Kayla Westfall, and Kacie Bryant.

The family will host relatives and friends at the home in Okolona on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
