Betty Jean Goldenpenny, age 76, of Prescott, passed from this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at her home.  She was born August 24, 1943 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of the late David Andrew and Dee Grace Tucker Sinyard.  Betty was an excellent cook, and former owner and operator of a restaurant.  She was a member of Park Missionary Baptist Church of Prescott.  Betty enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening and wine making in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Martie Goldenpenny and one sister Allie Jewelene Sinyard.

Betty is survived by one daughter, Dianna Potter of Prescott, three sons, James Goldenpenny (Lois) of Eagle Point, OR, David Goldenpenny (Connie) of Franklin, IN, and Richard Goldenpenny (Katherine) of Prescott, one brother, Charles David Sinyard (Frankie Ann) of Central Point, OR, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
