Betty Sue Denton Daily, age 63, of Arkadelphia, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at her home. Betty was born January 23, 1943, in Sparkman, the daughter of Zola Sport & Dorothy Shirron Denton. She served on the Board of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, taught piano for forty-two years including nine years in the Sparkman public school system and was active in the National Guild of Piano Teachers and the National Federation of Music Clubs. Betty was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church where she served as organist for thirty-seven years and WMU director for twenty-two years. Betty was preceded in death by her father, twin daughter & son who died at birth, and a son Steven Wayne Daily.

Survivors are her husband, James Herbert Daily; daughter in law Lynda Daily of Little Rock, AR., One son David Daily & his wife Teresa of Austin, TX. Her mother, Dorothy Denton of Sparkman. Two brothers, Donny Denton & his wife Irma of Sparkman, & Danny Denton & his wife Judy of Greenwood. Four grandchildren, Nicholas, Austin, Emma & Wilson Daily.

Funeral services are at 3:00 pm Sunday at Park Hill Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with Revs. Blake McKinney, Don Tallison & Erby Burgess officiating. Interment is in Sparkman Cemetery under the direction of Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Family hours are 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Welch funeral home. Memorials may be made to:
