Betty Jane Carter, age 84 of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Twin Rivers Heath and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on June 8, 1930 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Frank and Lela Sheets Boyer. Betty was a teller at Citizens and Elk Horn Banks for thirty-five years and a member of Hollywood Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Carter, and her brother, Harry Boyer. Betty is survived by two sisters, Melva Bagwell of Arkadelphia and Wanda Hile of Ashdown and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Carter Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Runyan officiating.
