Barbara Jean Mixon, age 74 of Nashville, passed from this life on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Christus St. Michael Medical Center in Texarkana. She was born on March 28, 1937 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late James Benny and Aileen Knapp Burleson. Barbara was a retired hair dresser and caregiver and a member of County Line Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Jimmy (Sherri) Mixon of Nashville, two daughters, Penny (Glen) Hebert of Nashville and Debbie (David) Sanchez of Virginia Beach, VA, eight grandchildren, David, Jimmy, Salina, Robert, Aaron, Denise, Jonathan, and Kaylie, thirteen great grandchildren, one brother, Bud Anderson of San Diego, CA and one sister, Edna Taylor of Arizona Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the County Line Cemetery with Rev. James Spradlin and Bishop Washington officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at County Line Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G.
