Aubrey Jones, age 81, of Sparkman, passed from this life on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his home.  He was born August 13, 1938 in Dallas County, the son of the late Aubrey Jim and Ruth Reynolds Jones.  Aubrey was a 1956 graduate of Sparkman High School.  He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist.  Aubrey enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and Dominos in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Jones, one infant sister, and one daughter Teresa Murry.

Aubrey is survived by two daughters, Sheila Stegall (Jesse) of El Dorado, and Brenda McLelland of El Dorado, two brothers, Tommy Jones (Shirley) of Sparkman, and Carl Jones of Yuma, AZ, five grandchildren, Kristen Warren, Jessika Walters, Paul Purifoy, Katie Roberson, and Kris Stegall, all of El Dorado, and ten great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Paul Purifoy and Timmy Ray officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
