Arlie Gerald Craig, age 69, of Arkadelphia, died on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born on September 28, 1937 in Curtis, the son of Charlie Jefferson and Fairy Berry Craig. Arlie was a cook, a Pentecost and a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers and one sister. Arlie is survived by his son, Frankie Craig of Joplin, MO, his mother, Fairy Craig of Arkadelphia, one sister, Christene Wilson of Arkadelphia, one brother, Shelby Craig of Arizona, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Harts Chapel Cemetery at Curtis with Rev. Larry Newsom officiating. Family hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Michael Hogan, Richard Catlett, Michael Ross, William Wilson, Tony Wilson and Timmy Wilson.
