Anne Elizabeth Evans, age 78, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at her home. Anne was born on May 6, 1930, in Arkadelphia, to former Chief of Police Edward David Bloomfield & Laura Howell Bloomfield. She was a retired purchasing agent & driver for a catering service in the Houston area and a member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Anne was preceded in death by her husband Cauley H. Evans & her son Cauley E. Evans. Survivors are several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews & great great nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Betty McCommas officiating. No visitation is planned.
