Albert Louis Cooper, age 84, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at his home.  He was born September 13, 1936, in Curtis, the son of the late Sam W. and Alice Karr Cooper. Albert was a retired log cutter.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Myers Cooper, one son, Terry Cooper of Llano, TX, one daughter, Rebecca Malcom (Brandon) of Gurdon, six sisters, Ann Sims of Texarkana, Opal Reeves of Bella Vista, Martha Cogen of Prescott, Minnie Herron of Arkadelphia, Mollie Shaw of Arkadelphia, Rosa Myers of Colt, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
